PIKLER® LABYRINTH

A tunnel-like motoric tool consisting of three different elements, open and closed parts, which can be used in several versions. Depending on the child’s level of development, it can be used in configurations of ‘I’, ‘L’ or ‘Z’.

With the Pikler Labyrinth, children can enjoy all the pleasures of crawling, climbing, crossing, pulling, sliding, clinging, etc. They can look out over the grid sides and even stand up in one place. Using the Pikler Labyrinth children develop spatial awareness, sense of balance, and make their movements more coordinated and sophisticated.

For children learning the Pikler Labyrinth, we recommend using the long grid element first, then attaching the short grid element to one side of the long element, and finally attaching the short closed element to the opening on the other side of the long element. For safety reasons, the elements of the Pikler Labyrinth should be fixed to each other with fixing screws. Use is recommended  on a non-slip surface.

The Pikler Labyrinth is made of solid beech wood. The surface is hand polished and oiled.
